blown bulb

Post by bigmitch »

I am just warning you lot that last night I was pulled over by the local fuzz .Cause I had a blow rear lght on the old omega and was told to replace .I even agreed with the copper and said please pull the half wits who drive at night with one headlamp. So be warned the cops are on the look out and will do you for it.

About bo"£dy time to many dangerous half wits out there

I remember being pulled over for exactly that on my Sierra. I didn't realise the light was out, copper ticked me off, I punched the light, it fired itself back into action, "fault corrected at the scene"

It makes me laugh the amount of headlight bulbs we, and any other roadside patrol get asked to replace.

How many people refuse to drive the car with a lamp out when you see every 10th car with a headlamp out, usually taxi's.

At least we all can change a bulb, alot of people omit reading the manual for the simplest of procedures.

I got pulled about 2 years ago in my Astra on the M3, left Aldershot with a rear bulb out as couldnt get one due to none of the shops being open on a sunday after 4pm and the filling station didnt have any either.

Copper was ok about it, followed me into winchester services and waited whilst I went to buy a bulb and fit it :thumb

Some Police are ok, its the young cocky ones you have to be careful with.
Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....

Or the misaligned aftermarket blue/hid kits that are poorly fitted.
