Cavalier Camaraderie

Post by humbucker »

So I tried that embarrassing 'Beetle' type of recognition that 'Dub owners give to other owners when they see each other on the road - you know, flash the lights, wave furiously, 'look look I've got the same car as you, we are kindred spirits!', that kind of thing.

I was in my Turbo, flashed and waved at at least three oncoming Cav drivers, none of them looked particularly amused hahaha!

Loads of flashing and 'aye up' when I'm in the Saab, usually a knowing glance and a sly nod from a fella in a 900, that kind of thing haha!

I do it all the time, because let's face it they are thinner on the ground now and becoming more cherished and classic, get the odd wave back, but usually, it's zombies at the wheel....

Done the same thing the driver looked at me blankly like why are you flashing your lights and waving at me.
