So... Slammed a kerb earlier and fooked not 1 but 2 steels!!!
Didn't have a spare either so found myself, partner and kids stranded in a car park for over an hour!!!

Managed to find someone to give me a lift home and pick up some alloys to get home...
Not had a chance to check for other damage but I hope I haven't knocked the tracking out!!!

Need to collect my wheel trims from the bush tomorrow...

Hammer and a good chisel will sort that.

I've straighten far worse with a hammer to get people home before now. Steels are great in that respect, you can salvage something that will hold air with some creative hammer work

I don't have any photos but struck a kerb once in the auto, on black ice, and the buckle was far worse then that but the air didn't escape :scratch Unlucky mate, these things happen.

Yep as said they will easily straighten out again with a few hits with the hammer.

I reckon theres a good chance you might have bent the wishbone at the front though as that must have hit hard. When i did this in my cav i bent the wishbone. Get the tyre pumped up and straighten the wheel and see how many fingers you can fit between the wing and wheel on both sides.

Will be on it tomorrow after work... I'm just assuming if bent everything until I've had a proper look... But will defo add that to the check list :)
I wanted to replace the wishbone anyway as the ball joint has been dead for a while...

I went up at about 30... Coming off a roundabout and the sun blinded me...

regularly using a hammer to sort out steels never had one come back unless they have hit something else
