Unmodified SRi wanted for Modern Classics magazine feature

I have been approached by Modern Classics magazine who would like an unmodified SRi for a forthcoming photo shoot and feature that the editorial team are putting together. Step right up...

Trying to find an unmodified SRi is difficult enough at the best of times, so while I think a PFL would be ideal, FL cars are welcome to join the party.

"A photoshoot for Modern Classic magazine featuring an MG Montego, a Ford Sierra XR4x4 and, of course, a Vauxhall Cavalier Mk3 SRi. It's not a What Car kind of comparison per se, more of a celebration, a bit like our French/German hot hatch feature we did a while back. At the moment the date and location is fluid – I'm trying to see where there are some overlaps where cars are and work from there. As for a shoot date I'm envisioning June."

It would be great to get a club car involved in this. Colin1? Super89? Telegram Sam? My guess is that the car needs to look unmodified, as opposed to being unmodified (does such a thing exist these days?!).

They no longer want a 'SRi' They want a turbo 4x4.. Very strange to compare the turbo with a xr4x4 LOL

A GSI 4x4 may be a better comparison. Was probably done back when both were new anyway.
