GM online Parts Catalog - where is it?
Hi
I used to always go to this site and look at diagrams for parts to get numbers but now seems to be down.
I don't suppose anyone knows if there is an alternative site or knows anything about it?
https://www.gmpartcatalog.com/
Thanks
Andrew

I use ecat24.
The site almost always opens in French.
But just click on GB to get English
Remember in mainland Europe it is "Vectra-A"

http://partsbase.org/ has gone too. GM having another clampdown by the looks of it.

It disappeared a few weeks ago. I used it all the time for searching parts on auto vaux, ebay and before going to the dealer etc.cavalier1990 wrote:Hi

It was absolutely brilliant with every possible part listed. I think GM took a disliking to it and banished it.
The ecat24 is nowhere near as good

Re: GM online Parts Catalog - where is it?
Sadly, new Vauxhall dealer policy is not to give our part numbers, presumably to stop the likes of you and I from going and finding the same part elsewhere at half the price. I guess removing our ability to lookup parts on these handy websites is intended to force us towards dealer parts desks who will refuse to give out part numbers, therefore causing a lot of people to give up searching before they shell out whatever is being asked of them.
Re: GM online Parts Catalog - where is it?
My local Vauxhall used to refuse to order parts if you did not have a part number.
Catch 22 situation....
Vauxhall World Parts has also gone now...

Are you sure the ploy isn't to force you to scrap your old car and buy a new one.?
We all know that many Cav parts are now stupidly over priced.

That's likely the reason, so lets all buy a mobile BBQ then! Zafira!Robsey wrote:Are you sure the ploy isn't to force you to scrap your old car and buy a new one.?

I wondered where this had gone. Should have done a site wide copy...ah well, at least ecat is still available which is better than nothing!

When my last computer died it took with it the link to the online opel ecat catalogue which I came to regard as the gospel for part numbers. I'm guessing that it is still there somewhere in cyberspace if someone could kindly provide the correct link pls.
In this instance I am looking for a replacement for the vertical grey plastic moulding that covers the driver's side of the gearbox console in the footwell. Once one of the brackets has broken I reckon that it's a write off beyond anything that can be done with Bostik and chewing gum.

Quick google brings this up
http://ecat24.com/opel/catalog/models/1/
You have to use Vectra - A but it's the same.
