Hi,

My old cav reached the end of the road some months back - terminal rust around offside inner wing/ bulkhead and steering rack mounts.

I'm not going to get round to fixing it so it will have to go. I'm in the medway area, If another forum member wants it (or bits off it )then you can have them for FREE. Else I'd be looking to get it to the scrappy in a couple of weeks.

Collection Only. I'm not in a position to break the car myself/strip .


Regarding taking bits only, I need to be left with something that can still be winched onto a trailer i.e. wheels attached.

The car:

High mileage (240k) 1.7TD. Very faded paint (red) generally tatty. Used a small amount of water every few hundred miles (but no over heating) . Almost new clutch, rad a couple of years old. Good front tyres. Won't currently drive as removed brake cylinder/servo and unbolted steering rack to get a better look at the rot. MOT expired last Jan. Sills also bad especially offside.

I don't mind going and getting some parts on your behalf.
If anyone is after anything in particular let me know and I'll get a list together.

Though be mindful it will have to be able to fit inside a Cav saloon.

Oh and it has the Anthracite Polka interior just like my LS, not the grey as first thought.

I think this will be gone by the end of the week if anyone needs bits, radiator looks to be pretty new, but interior not much left after me & James have been at it.

What did you get James I thought you would of taken the wheel trims.
