I didn't think there were enough left to generate a worthwhile event.

A sad waste of a classic car.

I'd rather smash up a modern face-less euro box.

They are still using MK2 granadas now and again would you believe? They were the favourite banger the last 20 years, I'd say about 50% of all of them went down that route. Good source of parts but many were stripped when there wasn't much wrong with them and most of the banger boys lobbed all the good parts in the bin.

Such a waist. I think you have to have a very destructive nature to want to do that, borderline vindictive.

Like people who break up cars which don't have much wrong with them and then say something like 'it's a shame but I had to do it'.
-no you didn't have to do it, there are always alternative options and clearly you don't think it was that much of a shame otherwise you wouldn't have done it.

Most banger drivers I meet when I was racing on the ovals had a screw loose.
