Good luck...

I've just tried to do this with the GTE. It's only on the road for the summers and does less than 2k miles a year.. I went through various classic insurers and 'specialists' to find that it was cheaper to keep it on the multicar policy with the daily Cav and Volvo..

I'm with RH Classic https://www.rhspecialistinsurance.co.uk for both my MK2 and MK3 Cavaliers it costs me £100 per car for 3000 miles with an agreed value of £1600 for the MK2 and 600 for the MK3 give them a call.
I always find the car insurance is different prices for different people so best to show around I have found RH Classic to be easy to deal with I don't know what they are like for making a clam though.
Good luck with your search :thumb
