Need help identifying mum's old Cav

I've read through a lot of brochures, info pages, etc, and I'm struggling to come up with a match for my mum's dear old Cav she had when I was growing up. I'm hoping someone here can help. It seems to be a tad unusual as far as components go, because I can't find info or photos that match what thae car was equipped with.

G reg
Metallic platinum paint
Original grey plastic grille with griffin badge on bonnet
Later three-spoke steering wheel (this one)
Dark grey/black interior with a seat material akin to corduroy
I believe it was a base model, because it lacked the plastic panel on the boot lid
1.6 engine
Tape deck with LCD panel on bottom right
Analogue clock
Hatchback
As for the wheel trims, I can't be sure, but this looks familiar

Thanks for your time, guys. Would be nice to know what the old girl was.

Have you tried putting your mum's cav's VIN into the box on the Ecat24 website.

Most older Cavs are not listed, but it is worth a go.
If it is listed, then it should give a run down of many factory production parts - it may include a trim level badge.

Alternatively message me you reg and vin and I will see what I can find.

Sorry I didn't see this at the time.

Sounds like a pre-facelift L or GL.
The main external difference between the two would be the colour coded bumpers on the GL.
