Anti-roll bar diameter (Rear)

Post by cavalier1990 »

Anyone know the diameter of the rear roll bar for the 1.8 model as I need to get bushes? I see different measurements on ebay offerings like 14mm, 15mm and I measure mine and they look to be 16mm. Likely expanded a wee bit due to crust and swelling overcoat but not too sure what the actual measurement should be?

When I fitted new rubbers to my 1994 C18NZ Cavalier, I fitted the following parts.

Rear Anti-roll bar centre rubber bearings -
90 236 352 at £6.38 each from Lookers Vauxhall in Ellesmere Port.

Rear Anti-roll bar end rubber bearings -
90 236 353 at £2.11 each from Lookers Vauxhall in Ellesmere Port.

So nice prices from the main dealer.
Prices were correct in spring / summer 2016.

The way I chose my centre bearings, was to look at the writing on the rubber bush.

If you cannot see the 8 digit part number, then you may have a single digit on yours.
Somewhere between 1 and 4 springs to mind.
Can't remember if mine said "2" or "4".
But on EPC and Ecat24, there should be mention of the single digit code.
