Another years ticket

Post by Mk3alan »

Hauled the CD out from under it's normally covered place of rest to prepare it for MOT.
It's not been run since October! although it is supplied with a battery maintenance unit.
Did cross my mind wether I really needed the Cavalier as at most it is only ever taxed for 6 months of the year but after removing wheels for a visual on things, washing and having a bit of wax rubbed on it all became clear why I still have it - it's great! I've missed driving it.
Started first time and managed a few miles on my way to the mot appointment where it was successful in obtaining another years worth with no advisories.
Now taxed and being enjoyed again!

Well done on the pass, you don’t realise how much you miss driving them until you do it again. :thumb

Excellent news on the pass.

Mine has been stood for so long, it is starting to smell like a musty old monk's sandal.
I would love to get mine going again... **sigh**
(Just a tinge of jealousy).

Looking forward to seeing your CD next month. :)
