Without getting neck deep in politics...
There are many aspects of "Europe" and of the UK that are good and many more that are ill thought out.

I have to admit, I prefer to keep my head in the sand, until either European or UK beaurocracy interferes directly in a negative way with my ability to manage a modestly happy and comfortable life.

Rightly or wrongly, I have the opinion that all politicians are tossers simply bullying ahead with their own agendas, regardless of the cost and impact on others.

I always thought the brexit should have been an ultimatum to fix the problems areas, as there are as many good things as bad with the EU. Rather than "we're british and refuse to take orders from johnny foreigner"
