Hey all
just wondering, i'm trying to get everyone's opinion on fuel octanes.
I've heard a lot of different things about running on regular and super unleaded, but not sure still which one to go for.
I know for a fact that super unleaded helps keep the engine a bit cleaner by not having as many deposits, etc, but its also more expensive. However i heard that it can increase engine fuel economy and is a better choice for power. What does everyone else think?
Andrei.

Re: Gasoline
ye, i thought so.
Still, the fact that it is a cleaner fuel means it will probably do good for the odd fill-up, to make sure that i'm not putting loads of unnessesary deposits at the bottom of the tank. Thanks Gaz

Re: Gasoline
I only use super unleaded / V-power once every 3 months or so.
And only fill the tank with it, twice to clean off the fuel lines, injector and the bowls of the engine.

Re: Gasoline
Cool, thanks buddy i reckon though, i'll stick to fuel additives. I'm using STP at the moment, the fuel injector treatment and fuel system cleaner. I'm gonna stick to the bottle labels which suggest to use every 1000 miles or so. As i take short routes usually, i'll probably do it every 800 miles. Not expensive to use, only couple of quid a bottle
