Only black cav they did was diamond black metalic. I had one for 6 weeks til anold guy went into side of me and it was wrote off. A solid black was never an option from the factory.

Saw a few CD's and a couple of SRI's in black up here, but they are long gone to the land of remanufactured washing machines :(

I love the black colour on a cav, i think it looks great. Makes it look more executive 8-)
I think one of the most common colours would be Kings Blue. :D Why not start a poll about it guys? :wave

Lol. Magic grey was on early Omegas and Cav CDX's.

There is a simalar colour used on vetcras and some tigras, but you can tell them apart as it dosen't change colouir like the Cav one dose. In strong sun light it can look black and when overcast it goes almost silver. The colour on the vectra always stays the same shade. no idea what the colour is called through.

Mine is a Glossy Black but not original colour. I think the red's were/are the most popular, as I see more of them than any other colour!! ;) There are the solids which go wishy washy and eventually turn into pink And there are the metallic reds which seem to go darker with age. Mine was originally a nice metallic red, but the external body was darker than the nice looking red in boot!! I know the external is open to the elements.

I had mine re-sprayed black as there were none in Hull, only to move down here and find loads of them!! :pram
Now seriously thinking of changing her colour again once all the work is done on her that I want to do! :D

Must admit, Cav's do look very 'regal' in black :!: :!: :D

However, have any of you seen the lush, blue/purple with silver airbrush artwork on it's side, Cavvie on e-bay? No room for shopping but looks great!! It is a must see in my opinion!! lol

my bro had a cloth interior Magic grey cdx saloon a fair few years back, deffo. colour changed in the sun really well. if only it wasnt a frikken hideous ecotec 2.0 he might still have it. cost 2 grand in sensors/wiring looms/cats and he got fed up with it being broken. if I knew then what I know now we could have made it reliable, but, if i had it now it would have an XE in it as it was a lovely car overall.

mine's diamond black, and i'm sure it looked ace when it was new on, but i think i'm going to have to t-cut it to convince myself. put it this way, there will be one less black cavalier on the road as soon as the cav hits the bodyshop! ;-)
