The cav has been used as a real car over christmas

I don't know about you all but my cav usually gets pretty well looked after ie. cleaned allot inside and out etc.. but this christmas period it has been pretty well abused!
I mean its my everyday car anyway for work etc.. but this past few weeks it hasn't had a wash or a hoover or even opened the bonnet. It has just been started up and used everyday in all this snow and bad weather, had allsorts of presents and stuff over the seats and gave plenty of people lifts all over the place.
Its done really well, not one of the warning lights has come on and hasn't missed a beat

Its absoluetly filthy at the moment, really looks bad. As soon as we get abit of good weather its getting cleaned in and out.
Anyone elses been like this or are they still getting pampered lol

Same here, although I did manage to wash it yesterday. Wanted to hoover and clean the inside today but it's rained all day today.

My colorado has been heavily used. But the turbo still sits out of use since October 2008 . Covered up with dust sheets lucky Cav. I thought how fun it would have been in the snow this year

No chance of getting any cars washed up here been freezing for weeks. Still an inch or so of ice lying everyware, except on thre main roads. The poor Astra is badly in need of a wash in and out.

mine usually gets cleaned once a week. but it hasnt had a hoover since before christmas and im too scared to wash it incase it freezes shut. i got caught in a blizzard last night on the way home and a 15 min run took 3 hours. skidding and sliding all over the shop but me and the cav survived.
the bonnets been open a few times as i have a water leak but even though its had a bit of abuse having to push through all the snow it still fought on and didnt miss once good old beast.
i have been taking it to the jet wash due to all the grit about and the amount of black gunge coming out the arches was unbelievable. as soon as this freeze is over i will be treating it to a full going over.

Mine was washed before Christmas, will get washed again for MOT in Feb. I've been trying to kick all the sludgy salty crap from the arches but it soon builds up again!
Used daily over Christmas, except Christmas Day and yesterday. Mine's always used daily, even though it's a Turbo and hasn't gone wrong THAT much! Nothing unexpected AND the 4x4 is fine, even though it's lowered quite a lot. So don't believe the bull-shit people spout about them being unreliable. They're only unreliable when they're ragged and dropped to the floor.
