or spend money makeing wilma a look a like, ie 5 stud, turbo engine

or hide wilma in lock up and say i sold it to buy turbo

lock the gsi away somewhere bud and get the tubby mate, no point in turbo reping a perfectly good gsi as the shell wont take the power of the LET and old shape scooby's and evo's have all been thrashed, the interiors are poor, they cost twice as much to insure and more to maintain

My take on this.

1) If you have to pawn your granny, you probabally shouldn't be thinking about a Turbo. (Cue the stoning from those that have the time and expertise to look after a turbo as a high mileage daily driver)
2) If you've got a good GSi, then spend your money on waxoilng the chassis
3) That said, I'd keep the GSi until you are sure the Turbo you've bought is right for you and then sell it.

1,not pawning gran she is selling her sis old flat and me and my bro getting my inherantance
2. has all ready has been underseald and waxoiled done on chassie legs and underneath
3,only advertiseing gsi 2 see if anyone be interstead in it just getting time wasters the now lol :wall

I'm guessing she meant. You are only allowed ONE CAR. and she'd prefer it was the CAV you currently own.

Women (and I've been married for 20 years and 2 weeks) don't like risk, and they don't like waste, although they'll happily 'waste' £100 on face cream to keep them looking young (which believe me DOES work - if my wife says it does I HAVE to believe her)
