I usually get one of the old mot check sheets out and go over my car checking each one I can .

Obviously some chassis stuff and suspension is not as easily to check but if it drives well in a straight line with no clonks or bumps It should be ok.

anyway yours is a fine example so I wouldn't worry too much

Good luck !!! Anita

the main thing they really look for on cavs suspension units, balljoints, track rod ends etc.

Also rust spots, like sills, fuel lines, brake lines etc.

when is it due anita?

Ive got bits n pieces to do for my mot, ive got welding to do and now a broken windscreen to sort which was fine Thursday night and friday morning i find it has a very large crack on the passenger side for some reason

Not that bad a failure sheet, theres no welding needed and everything that it has failed on is a perishable part - so well done!

considering i went in at half 2 and they were in by 4, got myself 2 seals and 9 new copper exhaust nuts and 2 studs for a tenner while i was there.

Not completely selfless
