My eventful weekend
Well, as of Sunday the 2nd of March 2008,
I now have wired in heated seats.
I now have a fuel computer switch socket wired in (cos I could)
I now have sound proofing in the front (much quieter)
I now have rear foot well heater vents (not yet plumbed in, but they will be
I've tidied up the mess of loo from the old C18NZ engine a little more, but that's more of a summer job for rewiring to be fair.
So, a little more detail about my weekend.
Friday the 29th of Feb, I lost my windscreen due to wind and negligence, no cover on my insurance so £99.88 lighter, Saturday I travel to Middlesbrough to get my new one fitted (only about 38-40 miles)
Of course I'd already made plans for the Saturday and I couldn't have them ruined so of I set to Dundee... with my mate Steve,
A good 3.5 - 4hours later, stopping on the Scottish Borders at the VVOC burger van (we nick named it that as the chap who owns it is a VVOC member) we arrive in Dundee to meet a chap o VXon who kindly let me have some bits and pieces off a cavalier diplomat. he was breaking,
namely the above
Left Dundee about 6:30pm, an interesting run back, eventusally turned off the TomTom as it just was not making sense.
Got home for about 11 and collapsed..
Sunday is where the real work began.

YOu can use a Vectra or Omega Fuel computer / mid stalk (I hate the term Veccy..) but you can't have the reset time / reset information buttons (just yet, I'm playing with a few ideas for button combos to see if its possible)
Of course, the option of a hidden reset switch is always there.
There will be a few how2's coming up shortly

If you decide to come up and get the electric mirrors fitted, I may wire in some buttons for your fuel computerFoxyCav wrote:Bloody hell Gary you wernt kidding when you said you liked driving for miles
