ive the 8v version, excuse the non standard wheels, they should be fanblades, but was also available with the X spoke expression style wheels

Re: Cavalier Limited Editions
No idea if it's real or not but on one of my routes there is a Cav showing [Club] Badges, but not modern typeface, older type.
I thought Clubs didn't come around until the late 90's with the Vectra's. Although, without liking a lot of chocolate on yer biscuit

There was also the Colorado, limited run of 4500, Available as a saloon and a hatch it had the C18NZ engine, Early Corsa SRi wheel trims, a blue/red stripe the same as the Ethos. The "Comet" Interior (Agian, the same as the Ethos IIRC).
It was available in Red, White, Light Blue, Burgandy and I think one other that I cant remember.....

Re: Cavalier Limited Editions
Here's what I beleive to be the full list of Cavalier specials. Most of them are crap, with only the Cesaro V6 standing out. Diplomats weren't special editions they were sold as part of the normal range. Most specials are tarted up low-spec cars which they wanted to shift. The base model was known only as a base, never a Merit
1991 Concept - 1.4 / 1.6 base trim, SRi bumpers
1992 Expression - 1.6 LX alloys, special seat cloth, SRi steering wheel
1993 Colorado - 1.8 special seat cloth, CD player
1993 Cesaro - 1.8 + V6 15 inch alloys, sports seats
1994 Ethos - 1.6 E-drive / 1.7 TD special seat cloth
1994 Expression - 1.8 15 inch multispoke alloys, LS trim but no rev counter
1995 Club - 1.8 old style Polka LS trim, 14 inch alloys no rev counter
1995 Classic - 1.8 Same as Club
1995 Concept - 1.8 Tracs seat cloth, no air bag

Re: Cavalier Limited Editions
so if its not a special, how come it was only produced between 92 and 93?? and being the only one with leather with exception to the turbo and the CDX which followed suite later on once the Diplomat badge was dropped??Dougie_SRi wrote:Here's what I beleive to be the full list of Cavalier specials. Re: Cavalier Limited Editions
It was part of the full range and featured in the brochures as such.dave's.cavy wrote:so if its not a special, how come it was only produced between 92 and 93?? and being the only one with leather with exception to the turbo and the CDX which followed suite later on once the Diplomat badge was dropped??Dougie_SRi wrote:Here's what I beleive to be the full list of Cavalier specials. Sold on the J/K/L reg, with a tiny number of pre-facelift cars. It was the only one with leather as it was the top luxury-spec Cavalier. Came with air con standard too. That doesn't make it a special edition though.
Re: Cavalier Limited Editions
Dougie is right ive just checked the booklets and its part of the range, rather than a limited edition.
Re: Cavalier Limited Editions
Fraid he's right, went through my Brochures and it is part of the standard range. The Cesaro brochure i have has special edition written on the front of the brochure, and is not listed in the standard Cavalier range. Its still a great Cavalier, and come with shed loads of extra's

Re: Cavalier Limited Editions
sorry have to disagree there the cesaro has no extras thats why this car is limited its based on the motorsport version no goodies allowed unless you want to pay silly money to have them fitted
