Right I've slapped a base coat onto the grill just to see how it looks I done it so I can paint it black if need be.

So what you think
Red/Black?

black - brings the whole thing together. red will make it look too seperate if you know what i mean. two tone is hard to get right!

Yeah i get what you mean I know they were always black on the originals.

these grills were orginally black and should stay black in my opinion.

That's what I'm aiming for retro I think black would be better for retro.

I never thought I would say this, as I like colour matched trims, but I prefer the black. Doesn't look quite right in red.

Both look good.

Sri's had matt black

CD's and Diplomat's had body coloured

all other have satin silver.

Tho if I was you i'd go for same as you've done your bumpers. Like its been said, it'll match your wing mirrors.

I think it looks bigger than it actually is as It's hanging off caught it on a bolts hanging out a curb near a post just haven't got round to refiting it and also ripped it off more on a raised curb.

Black definately looks the best for the Grille. The facelift grille looks ok in body colour but the pre face grille has got to be black in my opinion!
