Wanted: Picture of C20LET ECU pins

Post by humbucker »

Anyone got a LET ECU to hand that can upload a pic of the end featuring the three rows of pins that the plug goes into? Just putting one of mine back together and I'm not convinced that the pins are lined up properly. Thanks!

Incidentally, looking for a shot straight on so I can see the distance between the rows of pins, thanks.

It's going to be much the same as the standard motronic ecu's Dan

Aye, any Motronic unit will do. I have a feeling that the 'top' two rows are slightly closer together than the lower row, can't see any other way that it can be but thought it worth checking for good measure before I screwed it back together again.

Been some years since I looked, but that doesn't sound familiar.

Thanks Paul. This was on the EDS website too so it looks like I was right; the top two rows are slightly closer together than the bottom (although these pics were taken upside down?!). Nice one. Phase 2 a gogo!

DECKEL = 'top' and BODEN = 'bottom' iirc? :scratch In this instance the 'top' one is the chip nearest the lid/cover/face, whereas 'bottom' is the one on the board attached to the flat metal base. Pretty sure that's the right way around.

Aye text on the chips themselves is facing left on both counts so looks good.

No haven't sorted a switch out yet, first chance I've had to take a look tbh. Why, you gonna offer me one for sale?! ;)

Yeah high and low boost switch, rather than wheel on ph3+. Wires out of bottom right of ecu in pic are for switch. In theory if the switch isn't installed then it should be on high boost setting by default but better to be able to switch it to be sure.
