take the glovebox out and unwire it. remove the all the tape so you can see all the wires before cutting anything
Work out which are feeds and earths ( red or black and brown on the cav side)
work out the cuts- wires that end and then new ones sodered onto the end going into the box into pairs for rejoining and thats about it.
Having a wiring diagram really isnt needed for removal

As gaz says, just trace the pairs carefully and reinstate the original connections. The dsa was a system they started fitting in the later part of my time in the vauxhall network, and was supposed to be a high quality security solution. Reality is that they are often fitted badly and as a result the wiring and immobilised circuits are easy to traces and remove. Even if it has been done well it's still just a case of patience. I have removed many over the years at the roadside, even the once famed vector system which was marketed to be impossible to get around.

we've driven 150 miles today........
the heater went cold last Thursday........
they check the level when it's serviced don't they?"

It wouldn't been as bad if I could understand this alarm system; it seems to have a mind of it's own! I've never had any luck with car alarms over the years
Thx for your help guys; will have a look and see if I can kill the fudgery
