can anyone help me with wiring ? 1.8 8v to 2.016v conversion

I was wondering if anyone knows the wiring diagram/purpose etcc

mainly the wires In the bay near the battery tray ?? the round black multiplug
I thought you could just plug that bit in plug/play ?? various wires have just been cut
I need to know the colour/purpose in the bay as what I think is a ign live (looks a bit like the oil level sensor) has just been bared back and wire is wrapped around It,

very rough job i've had a search on here and cant find anything cheers

I've wired a couple of corsa conversions in but they are just near the ecu, so no wiring in the bay experience cheers for reading hope it makes sense

Mine went from 1.8 to 2.0 16v and it was plug and play, no wire changes or anything.

Maybe a few pictures might help.

the multiplug in the bay, just use the loom off your old engine, its only starter oil pressure etc,

The engine loom just goes into the footwell as per.

is that plug an ignition live ??



were does the green go ? currently not on anything











brown and brown/green are blanked off/not connected???

blue/white are routed around the plug
and blue aswell

there maybe more I've missed

I was wondering if anyone knows were I could get wiring terminals/gromits the full kit so I could run the wires back through the plug cheers I get them from the dealers for trucks but not sure were to go for the car ones ?

any help is appreciatied cheers

Yea switched ecu live you should have one on the right hand side of the bay as you look at it

It goes on the coil needs a spade connector on the end


Just use the starter alternator etc loom off your old engine as i said before, will be no issues.

cheers gaz I cant remember it been connected as it was my daily driver to I found stuff like this and pulled it off the road so I could start tidying up the mess
does it go on the left or right terminal on the coil a take theres a positive and a negative I've got to admit ive never looked I know I should of

but the black connector was just wrapped around another black wire no plug on the end so I've just cut the plug off and joined it properly heat shrink etc.
