C25xe ecu operation

Think I'm having a problem with my ecu at the minute took it off to find a couple of the pins corroded. Looking to know is there anyway to test a ecu to find out if it has been damaged. Getting a replacement in Northern Ireland non key coded is hard enough.

There is companys like ecu doctor were you can send them to be checked but they are costly just for them to have a look if i can remember right before they even look to repair it

Your best bet is gonna be swap it out with a known good one. Thankfully V6 ECUs aren't that costly if you can find someone stripping a car.
