Lambda sensor problem

Post by dorsetdave »

Hello all,

I need a new lambda sensor for my 1993 2.0 8v cat engine Cavalier. I have seen one advertised in the UK but it has a very short lead on it. Mine goes all the way up to the scuttle on the driver's side. I seem to be able to source one in Germany but the feedback is poor.

The Vauxhall Dealer tells me that one is, in theory, available from Opel Germany at a large fortune and with a long delivery time.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Thanks for looking.

Obvious thought: Have you tried Autovaux / Genuine Parts Search? They appear to take regular deliveries from Germany to the benefit of transport costs and lead times.

Thanks very much.

I will contact them to see if it can be expressed. It was due to be fitted next Friday.
