Standard speaker sizes. front and rear.

Could anyone help me out please with the rear and front size speakers from a mk III cav (facelift) please in inches if pos, ie 5" 6" etc.

Hi mate, If it is a saloon thay are 5inch front an rear.

you can fit 6.5" in the rear of a saloon easy, the just screw inplace off the old. The fronts will take 6.5"'s but you need the plastic adaptor which spaces them out. other wise with magnet being so big the window will het them when you winde the window down. You need the adaptor plate for an old vauxhall. Think it said MK2 atra van on the packet I bought, but they are all the same. Go oline and get your self two sets of 6.5's and uprated tweeters for the dashboard. all good on line stires will sell the adaptor plates for a few quid.
