Electric Windows..

Post by adieburns »

Got a 1.8 auto Cavalier 1995.. yeserday the drivers side window suddenly stopped 'going up'..it is still going down ok though. A couple of days earlier I did spill some coffee around the centre console area where the 2 window switches are located. The passenger side still operates ok, its just the up direction on drivers side thats innoperable :wall Any advice on a remedy :?:

Any tips on checking centre console window switches :?: or How to remove door panel and check window 'motors' etc :?:

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated :thumb

It will probably be the switches, i did it on my old vectra, you just need to strip and clean the switches

Yep..your right ..oval'ish bit gains you access...once out I could see the mess around 'drivers side up' switch/connectors..(green'ish like when batteries have been left in an appliance & corroded).. Thanks once again for your support..Viva la cavmk3oc
