hi my lecky wing mirrors arnt working now for some strange reason ? but the still heat up as i can feel the mirrors get hot any ideas please cheers

or

Duff switch.

The heating element is on the same circuit as the rear screen.

The adjustment is its own circuit.

for current limitation purposes, you may find that the motors will only work when the demist function is turned off.

that is how mine works

demist off - motors work.
demist on - motors are disabled.

simples!

I should point out though that I retro-fitted mine by building and fitting a full factory style add-on powered mirror loom.

no they dont work with demist off what fuse is it on the fuse bord ? cheers

Fuse 12 - Heated rear window, Electric mirrors etc.

fuse is ok rear heated windows work ? :scratch

Strip the switch,probably find the contacts are covered in dust/fluff,common as hell,had to do every cav I've owned,also got to do the Saab I just got as this does the same
