Indicators stopped working
Very odd, but last night when out and about in the Turbo, the indicators stopped working. Hazard lights work perfectly well, but when you put the indicator stalk down the indicator light on the dash illuminates without flashing and the exterior indicator lights no longer function. Relay/fuse problem?

Re: Indicators stopped working
I should point out, this is true of both sides, left and right indicators.

Re: Indicators stopped working
I swapped the relay out with another known good one but the same problem persists, although the hazards and alarm both flash on and off on the dash and on the lights themselves. Other indicator stalk features work (main beam). Swapped a few fuses in and out and Tech 1'd it just in case an odd fault code was thrown up on any of the electrical systems but nowt. Process of elimination suggests the stalk switch itself. Might swap it out with another and see if that cures it.

Re: Indicators stopped working
Stalk itself probably does sound more certain now. If not then it could be shorting out somewhere.

Re: Indicators stopped working
I'll give the stalk and hazard switch a fettle, although the perfectly working hazard lights suggest that the switch is OK, but you never know...

Re: Indicators stopped working
Hazard switch failure was common at one time, and could present as the switch sticking, making it very hard to turn off the hazards or a lack of indicators. If you turn an indicator on and fiddle with the switch you might find that the indicator starts to work.
