Wiring in calibra dials???
I've got a hold of a set of the calibra twin dials that sit in the centre of the dash, are they straight forward to wire in or is there a how2 on the net? Cheers.

I presume you mean the Volt/Oil pressure gauges?
If so, they fit just above the cigarette lighter tray, my mate Chris (Hayward691) helped me wire mine in, basically he just did the volt gauge and earthed the oil gauge as I don't have the correct sender unit for the engine.
It's a matter of giving the volt gauge an ignition live, and he gave the gauge illumination a feed from the clock, which means when I alter the instrument brightness with the slider under the headlamp switch, the gauges dim and illuminate with the instrument cluster. If I was there I'd tell you what goes where but it's a bit tricky saying it on here if you know what I mean...

I disconnected the fag lighter and wired my gauges to it as it was close and handy. Gauges light up on ignition instead of light switch just

Cheers for the advise guys, did a search and found a few pics so going to give it a bash over the next few days I'll let yous know how I got on. Love the idea of using the clock for the light so it dims....... Inspired

Yes it's very handy as it blends in with the instruments. Just rob a feed off the green wire going to the clock, job done

When I get round to doing mine, I'll be doing a 'how to'...

There should be one (or two) already
