Annoying beep

Re: Annoying beep
Sounds like a relay or solenoid chatter.
Either the solenoid is getting sticky or
Dirty wiring connector or weak battery causing the voltage to drop enough to cause the solenoid to struggle.

Re: Annoying beep
Thanks for the help any idea where this solenoid is?
She is 25 year old this year so could probably use a new 1.

Re: Annoying beep
Suppose I should have used plain English.
The solenoid is the lock motor inside each door.
I would start by cleaning all the electrical connectors before faffing with pulling out the motors.
The motors either work or they don't.
So if the lock pins still lift on the door, then the motor itself is still working.
But dirty or loose wiring / connectors could affect their operation.
And so could old solidified grease on the link / operating rods. - this is what I mean by sticking motors.
So clean and lubricate all the link rods so that they move freely.
There is a control module in the driver's kick panel.
You will find it strapped in behind three small connectors.
The module will have "Kiekert" printed on it.
Check the connector pins for being clean and dry.
