Vauxhall Cavalier Mk3 88-95 what causes to burnt out melted the 30A heater fuse in the fuse box as I have replaced a new blower 1.5 years ago
When I turn on the heater switch some times it comes on then some time it wont work at all the after a while it comes on by it's self confusing

Hi Allen,
Welcome to the forum.

If the fuse is burning out, there can only be two reasons.
1 - Faulty motor bearings - motor is stiff to turn
2 - Damaged wiring or connectors.

I know the motor is less than 2 years old - but...
Does the fan-drum rub on the casing?
I had this issue on my replacement fan motor.

yes I think it doe's as when it comes on it makes a funny noise then it doe;s off in a few seconds

Did the fuse just blow or did it melt the holder? Was the right size fuse in?
