Engine management light on

[Rattler]

Driving to work last monday in freezing cold engine management light and seat belt light came on
All lights side/head/dash suddenly brighter than normal.
Engine was and is running ok
I suspect alternator regulator fault/output at battery 25 volts
Anybody got any other suspicions

if its at 25v its defiantly the alternator, and i wouldn't be driving it myself as your going to start blowing fuses and potentially damaging the ecu etc.
