Online unlock codes?

Has anyone used these - funny thing was... one Vox dealer said £30 another £20 (to get the code from Vauxhall for my stereo after disconnection)...I went online and have seen many sites saying they'll send you software for 2.99 etc that will find you the code -- has anyone tried them?

Gaz - do you mean something on 'shouldpay.' (free radio codes) ? thats' one I found with funny little boxes to put numbers in - but I haven't tried it as I couldn't see what numbers to put in...hope to try this weekend..

with enough hunting around you should find a free one, theres a few ones on torrents but they seem to be a bit virus ridden

I know there were some sites that just took your money and gave you a random digit number and when it didnt work fobbed you off, just be aware.

Your local car radio place normally has a eprom reader they can use.
