In my 1995 sales brochure lol. Same as in my 94 brochure.

The TD can get upto 50MPG the 1.8i is still a good car. But the TD gives 40 around town compared to the 1.8's 28.

I'm thinking of getting a Izuzu Cav some time.

I'd hate to think what the MPG of my 3.0v6 cav is tho lol

I wonder if you could stick a f20 in a TD, that would make it accelarate quicker tho the 5th gear MPG would go down.

Guess there are ways of making the TD faster with out comprimising MPG.

quarter turn on the max fuel screw, new inlet manifold gasket, perform the white ring mod will make the td more powerful than the 1.8, heading towards 20ne territory.

Just getting it to boost at 1.2 bar and turning up the fuel by about 1/4- 1/3 of a turn makes a big diffrence. Without having to get the inlet mainfold off to get out the white ring. Well it it did on my astra.
