alternator relay

can anyone tell me were the relay for the alternator is situated on my m reg 1.7 td cavalier.

Vauxhall 1.7TD ("Isuzu") Engine

[i]As fitted to the Cavalier, 1992 to 1996. If you have recently changed the alternator but the warning light remains on, check the relay that controls the warning light. Chances are that it is damaged.[/i] [b]The later type of alternator does not use this relay, but unfortunately cannot be fitted in place of the earlier type.[/b]

Not sure how accurate but if it is i learnt something abt my 1.7TD as well

changed the alternator now need to change relay but dont know were it is.

The relay you seek is located in the drivers side footwell.

There is a panel next to the accelerator pedal that pulls off,carefully.
