got both electric mirrors playing up today, cant adjust in certaim directions.tried contact sprays ect no joy.. are the motors replaceable? as there original 93 so guess there shagged... any tips or cheap replacements out there? or any suggestions much appreciate

odds on its the switch if it only works in one direction, mine was exactly the same

best to check which switch you have, you can get them off most same era vauxhalls if the plug is the same.

Might be able to get a few months out of the switch you have if you get stuck by heating the solder contacts. usually down to dry joints.

Bit of an old thread now,
but I find with dry joints, it is best to remove all traces of the old dry solder with a "solder-sucker",
then relace with good fresh new solder.
Just heating a dry solder joint, doesn't remove any contaminant from the soldered joint. Just warming is very hit and miss, and usually the hits are very short lived.
