rev counter has stopped working since new engine has been put in!

Any Idea's ... thanks

Wiring fault, have you checked the wire for it. I think it a green wire.

where about doe's it connect to on the coil?? its a different coil to what was on my last engine.

it's looks like it connects into something like a plug! its its a black plug with a green rubber seal around it! should it fit onto my coil handy enough?

Green wire needs to be plugged in, might be a plug under the dash you haven't plugged in, or the wire isn't there.

the green wire is just hanging out off the loom beside the coil but don't know where it goes.

the coil has a green and black wire to the positive and a black earth wire to the frame! there's also that other green wire hanging with the loom??? :scratch

the green wire goes to the negative terminal on the coil

what should i do just cut off the plug end off the green wire and wire it to the negative black wire on the coil ?
