Interior plastics

Post by Cavalier342 »

Hey all :wave
I took the most out of today's gorgeous sunshine and thought i'd shine up whichever part i could find on my cav :D I learnt a new trick too. For those who have manual sunroofs, this is amazing. The sunroof handle, if you may notice gets grubby and filthy over time, so what i did is unscrewed it, gave it in a good spray of Dash Shine spray,(any dashboard shine product will do) then rubbed it with some cotton bud sticks. It worked! Looks brand new now, no dirt at all. I found the trick to work also on any other hard to reach places, such as inside the interior door handles, air vents, coin holder (next to the handbrake), and any stains that are hard to get rid of. Cheap yet effective :D So i thought i;d share what i could in case this would come in handy to know for some members :D

I've recently started using Autoglym interior shampoo - works a treat really :D

The old Vauxhall plastics come up really well after a good clean. I actually removed the center vents and took them inside and washed them but obviously not everything can be done like that
