Would this help anyone ?
Would this help anyone ?
Dont know if people would want to read it or not, but as I will be doing a full valet on my Cavalier tomorrow, inside and out, would anyone be interested in seeing how I do it from start to finish ?
I could take photos as I go showing all of the full valet procedure and tips on getting things clean and in the best order ( which is important ).
It would take some work, but would be happy to do it if someone on here would find it useful ?
Actually, come to think of it, I have a Mot Failure Cavalier in my garage too, which is really dirty and has gone pink, I could valet this one instead to really show the before and after difference.
I am sure most people on here are more than able to clean their cars to a high standard so it may not be of any use to anyone, but if it is I can post a full valeting guide up here on Monday after I have done the old Cav. It would include Paint Renovation, Clay Bar, correct washing method to avoid scratches and swirt marks, snow foaming, polishing, waxing, final coat, interior cleaning etc.
Like I said, most of you will know it all already I am sure, but would it help people whom maybe does not know how to clean cars properly ??

Doesn't matter how trivial you think it may be..
It will definately be helpful and informative to many members and visitors to the site.
Besides, it is always good to see a before and after
So yes, let's see that How 2 / WIP

Re: Would this help anyone ?
Any advice on cleaning the beige interior on my gsi would be god send mate
Re: Would this help anyone ?
Cool, I will do this tomorrow and Sunday then ( weather permitting ). I will make sure there are loads of pics showing what I am doing and descriptions to say what I am doing and why.
To do the full works, as well as take pics will take all day tomorrow and maybe some of Sunday, so will try and get it on here by Sunday night.
Its got to be worth it if it helps someone and I get the old Cav in the garage all cleaned up at the same time
And the Cav in the garage has a beige interior too !

Re: Would this help anyone ?
Looking forward to seeing the how to cant beat a good clean cav
Re: Would this help anyone ?
Thanks all.
I valeted the outside of the car today and will get the write up and pics done this afternoon/evening. Then tomorrow I will do the full works on the inside of the car and have those pics and write up online by tomorrrow night.
I hope it proves of use to some people.
I have done the full works from start to finish on the cav. Then next weekend I will go more into how to keep the car clean quickly and easily, as you will not want or need to polish it every week.
The outside of the Cav today took me 5 hours. The inside will take about 4 hours tomorrow. However, the weekly wash routine needed next week will only take 45 minutes max.
Will get it all on here asap, by tonight, and interior by tomorrow night.
Hope you all like
