The original time was set by Envoy in one of the very early posts on page one.
(And since when did anyone take any notice of Robsey - tee hee

Now that we more or less know who is or is not coming, I am sure between 12 and 1 is fine.
We all know that Gaz ain't the best for (early) mornings on a Sunday - ha ha.

I think the only person with a double date, is A-J, who has another meet afterwards.
Apologies if I quoted the wrong person.

Personally I am fine with a slightly longer lie in.

Should be a nice mix of cars with Corsa's, Cavaliers and a Belmont I think.

The pub is at the junction of the A672 Oldham Road, and Pike End Road.

Direction for non-sat navs are

M62 junction 22, take the A672 exit to A58/Ripponden/Saddleworth

If driving away from Manchester - Turn left onto A672

After approx 2.7 miles - Destination will be on the left

Driving towards Manchester, when you come off at junction 22 - Turn Right onto A672
There is only one main road that goes under the motorway, and heads towards the pub.

Destination will be on the left after approx 2.7 miles.

Shouldn't be hard to find as there is bugger-all else on the road.

Well to those of you that missed this you guys missed out! You southerners have nothing on us when it comes to meets.....

Well, it was nice to catch-up with some familiar faces, and also to meet a few new ones.

I nearly didn'tmake it myself, after flying off the M62 at junction 22 eastbound, only to find that the road was soooo slippy, that I seriously thought that I was going to crash.

It didn't help with the wet metal cattle grid at the bottom of the exit slip lane onto the roundabout

The ABS on my car proved that it still just about worked, and I just managed to regain control of the car as I hit the roundabout.
Thankfully, there was nothing else on the roundbout, otherwise it could've been very messy.

Phew!! change of underwear moment.

The drive home again a few hours later was a lot more sedate and careful.

the downside, is that the weather was initially quite crap, so so we were forced to go into the pub and grab a drink, and watch the young waitresses scoot past in very short mini-skirts.

Oooooh to be single again and 25 years younger - ha ha

The pub was much posher than we expected, and probably far too expensive for anyone to consider eating there.

Anyway, after a short spell indoors, the weather gradually got warmer and drier.

Amazingly, the sun came out 10 minutes after Gaz and TurboDan left......... I'm saying nothing.

I am looking forward to A-J's pictures later.
(Remember to photoshop my car so it looks half decent - Tenners in the post - lol)

Okay - just had a look on the map.. it was just the layout of the road as it passes under the motorway, either side of the stantions.
