South East Meet

Is Anybody Up For A South East Meet. I Live In Kent And Would Be My First Meet.

some of us had a meet in southhampton. i will be at the grasshopper on a25 in westerham kent with vauxhall drivers club this sunday from about 1pm. i am in tunbridge wells. andysri is from medway. very busy work and other things at mo . but happy to meet any members from south east. lots of places to meet . tim. http://www.grasshopperinn.co.uk/ as the car park is massive and owner is pro car clubs. sound of 30 cobras going out car park is fab

this is a brilliant idea, glad we finally have another member over this way. where abouts in kent are you located?

i think tims idea on a venue is a good one, never been there yet also there is a place in ashford with an old yankee style cafe which is a popular meeting point for local clubs.

would be cool if some of our friends from the southern area meet a few months back in southampton could join us over this way and of course anyone else able to make the meet

Im down in folkestone. Nothing special about my cav just such a reliable motor. Fitted a full leather interior, New style badges and a gsi boot panel.

How many people are we going to see on sunday then. Who can make it

Well i will be there but this is my 1st meet n dont have a clue what im doin lol. I drive a 1995 Red Cavalier 1.6 Ls

got a couple of things to do am so be there 1pm or just after. i will bring cav gsi . pear grey (black to look at) on a25 just outside westerham get off jct 5 m25 onto a25. dont stop at grasshopper on the green thats in middle of town near winston churchill statue . grasshopper is the big pub on left just as you go out of town. tim

sorry guys, was at leeds castle yesterday missus was doin a charity run thingy. i think for a proper cav meet we'll have to advertise it with a bit of notice to give people a chance to make plans. will be good if we can meet up before if gets too cold lol

how we set a date, say sunday in november like 8th. as a starting point and see how many want to attend then sort a central venue. tim LIST BELOW.

well i would imagine this meet will be a little more east than the last but a meeting place has not yet been decided, although tims suggestion at westerham sounds ideal

Quite easy to get there i suppose, where abouts in the area? I will save plans for that date but i'm planning on getting her MOT'd in the first week of november, so i'll have to update as things go. If all is well, i'll definitely try to make it.
