Given that I can't find a way to edit my last post (Dunno, no visible options and whatnot... maybe you have to post a certain number first?) but I'm now confirming that I'll do my best to get there. Gotta get in from London (probably via the A3 or M3) so it'll take me a while (alas, it's not suring the night, so speed limits actually mean something... )

See you all there! (assuming the Old Girl doesn't fall apart en route...)

DIRECTIONS.

15 East Street, Havant, Hampshire PO9 1AA

NB The hotel's car park is round the rear of the property and does not have direct access from the front.

Pass The Bear Hotel on your left, turn left into 'Town Hall Road'.

Take first left into 'The Pallant' and keep to the RIGHT along side the stone wall and hedgerow.

Follow until end then turn left, follow road 100 metres or so and take left, car park is immediately on the turn on the left and is sign posted The Bear Hotel.

Providing we're not snow in - see you there!

Image

Heading down A3 turn left onto the A27 towards Chichester and follow above map.

M27 heading towards Chichester, join A27 by the Portsmouth turning and follow above map.

Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....

Snow here in Colrelywood currently, but having seen the gritters out and about on arrival, I'm confident I'll be there at some point. Should be a fairly straightforward run, M25 to the A3, then find the hotel (usually after orbiting the town for a while).

See you all there! (I'm relying on your brains and experience to help me fix the bloody thing  )

Yeah, should have been 'chorelywood', but beer and waiting too long after posting prevented editing. See you all there!

To make it very clear...

You want first exit off of A27 sign posted Havant.

As you enter Havant get into right hand lane, you will pass burger king on your left then mc donalds on your right.

Take the right at the big set of lights alongside the weatherspoons looking pub into Elm Lane, follow past the bus station until mini roundabout and take 2nd exit (right)

Follow until sharp bend then follow road left and follow road past front of the Bear Hotel.

Take Townhall road then immediately take 1st left into "The Palant" and keep to the right, after that just keep going left and you will see the sign directing you into the Bear hotel carpark..

Simples huh..
