Vauxhall only day at Beaulieu

Post by Lowrider Dave »

The famous motor museum at Beaulieu is having a Vauxhall Day on July 28th.

Open to anyone with a Vauxhall at a reduced rate of £10 which gives you access to the whole Beaulieu including Top Gear and James Bond attractions (bargain!)

On behalf of the forum I contacted Beaulieu to ask about a club stand/area. Although officially they are not have club stands, they are allowing groups to park together but I have to contact them with final numbers. I would need to know who can come, pay the entrance fees for all and tell Beaulieu who will then allocate an area for us. There will be trade stands.

So, who would be interested in a sunny July meet up in the south to show off the cars and club?

As will I....

I do have to add though to qualify for a club stand all members must turn up in convoy to get places so anyone putting their name down must be 100% sure they are going to come along!!!
Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....

I'm up for this. If I get the manual through it's MOT in July, I'll run it up there.

All the info here:

Although Beaulieu website says there is no room for clubs, I have been in contact with them and they confirm there IS space for clubs and we are more than welcome, once we have confirmed numbers I "then get in contact with Tom Reinhold 2-3 weeks before the event and give him details of numbers or vehicles and then we can allocate you a club space."

Anyone who wants to come has plenty of time to book the day off or alert other halves etc, we'll need to give a confirmed numbers prior to the event - tickets can be bought online/over phone/on day. It would be advisable if we all turned up at the the same time, we can meet at a set time and convoy in.

Motorcycle museum nearby too for the boys that are into both? This will be my last day of summer leave, but I might be booked already. If not then I would be tempted, especially if we can get a good turn out.

You can count me in.

Should be a great day, providing the weather has sorted itself out by then.

We should have a meet up during the Vauxhall heritage centre open day as well.

Just a reminder for people that this is on, so you can organise the day off, permission to go, etc

I have organised some showplates for use to put on the cars and will post an image shortly.

I had some showplates made up for when we are at shows. Hoping we'll get a good number of us at Beaulieu to use these bad boys!
