Another good meet, 2 of us didn't make it for whatever reasons but 6 of us did. Initially at the pub as per usual then at the local scenic spot down the road. Adam left the squadron at the pub, so 5 of us remained.

Regarding the pub, as long as most of us buy something, it's business for them so it keeps things sweet. Turns out the manager used to have a company Cavalier anyway back in the day so he likes them. Bonus.

A turn out of six for the last meet of the year - Pilky (Adam) dropped in to but was on family duty so couldn't stay long - discovered the landlord used to have a Cavalier as a company car before being given a Calibra, which he hated! We had a drink or two, had a chat and then off for photos at the usual place, must look for a new location for next year.

Very good year for our area, hope we can keep up the interest and attendances - next meet most likely March at the earliest. Here are the pics:

Bollocks. I was determined to be there and all, but my sleep patterns have been to hell recently, resulting in me not sleeping at all the previous night, then having a big fry-up to keep myself running. This resulted in me deciding to try and have a quick nap before heading out... and I've only just woken up about 10 minutes ago.

Never mind, I'll be there for the FIRST one of the next year, for certain! (Even if I have to sleep in the car in the car park the night before...)

Don't give me technicalities

V6 is undergoing surgery at the moment so not in my possession at the moment. Was nice to drive the auto for a change though. Loves a good clear out.

I'm sure we'll manage to get a national meet going at some point! Gotta be done.

But I agree with what you say, when I first joined the forum, I swear there were more Northern meets on here than any others. Then again, living in Dorset, everywhere is "North of here"
