Beds/Bucks/Herts/Northants etc meet?

hey,

would anyone in the following areas fancy a meet, go for a meal somewhere or something like that:

Bedfordshire
Buckinghamshire
Hertfordshire
Northamptonshire
Cambridgeshire.

anyone else from any others is more than welcome, just wasn't sure if you'd want to travel a long way to go for a meal etc.

i'd be up for this at some point, im in the cambridgeshire area but spend a lot of time in and around north herts etc. of course i need to take it one step at a time and actually get my cav first (tomorrow!!! whoohoo!!) but yeah sounds like a plan.

we have regional meets over at www.omegaowners.com and theyre great, an opportunity to meet other members and also help each other out with odd jobs on each others motors. there seem to be a fair few of us on cavmk3oc who are in this area so definitely should contribute to a good turnout!!

its alright mate.
im driving a battered astra mk3 atm, as my gearbox has given up the ghost on me, so i wouldn't worry too much what car you're in when we have a meet somewhere.

hopefully my cav will be back on the road in a few weeks time

well, ive got the cavy back on the road now, so if anyone's still up for a cavmk3oc meet somewhere in this area, let me know, and we can arrange something!

also throw any ideas in as to what we could do (go for a meal, go to the pub, go to some show/place i duno LOL)

uuummm howz about meetin at sumwhere like billing aqua drome in the queys,could av a bit to eat ,and they,v got boats and stuff to take sum pix or choose a centrl location once we no whos up for cumin,im not that fussed im pretty flexibal aswell,i can touch my toes

how about a meet on the 2nd weekend of December.

we can all meet up at the J15 services on the M1.

then, as suggested, head off upto Billing Aquadrome, have something to eat, and then go find somewhere to take some pics etc.

ive asked v6sri if he can recommend anywhere, as i dont really know anywhere in Billing, but according to him theres some nice places to go for a meal, and go for a drive and take pics etc.

will be good to meet some local's.

oh, and btw,just to warn people, i will be in a mk2 Astra 1.4, and due to loosing my job i have limited funds, but im still gona go ahead with the meet if people still want to it. i will be in this instead:

dont know billing at all other than its got an aquadrome but a decent family pub or something might be good, decent nosh and a good watering hole. whatcha all reckon? doubles up as a decent place if you just want to have a drink then

We can't go Biling Aquadrome as it doesn't open again till March. I'll have a look on net for a decent place for grub etc. 1pm is good for me, hows about everyone else??
