yeah, have a coolant header tank for you too, but the meet is far too short notice for me I'm afraid.

I never asked for one, did I?
No worries mate, we may well postpone it if nobody else shows interest, we both figured with this break in the wind + rain etc, some people may be up for a meet already

when someone sorts a meet, it needs more than this sort of notice. i love the old bangers, and am pleased to chin wag at length about em, but have other stuff going on too.
yep, i had some for sale, you wanted one as a spare, asked if I could hold it till we meet next, i said yes, ok i wouldn't sell them all and kept one for you. not need it now?

I would probably come as well with more notice, as I'm putting my new cav on the road in April to give it a run.

Your comment comes across a tad aggressive... I'm sure you don't mean it to... just though I would point it out
It is a tad short notice... I think I'm working that day until 4pm... But might be able to catch up after

Oh sorry Pete, I thought you meant one for the V6. Indeed, I do have a spare one for the auto, I totally got that wrong somewhere...

Just checked my rota and I'm doing 5am - 10am on Sunday... If its just the Bournemouth 'Boys' meeting... maybe turn it into a gathering rather than a proper meet... and maybe a bit more local... LOL
Still need to check we dont have other things planned first though

If it's just us lot, then yes we'll arrange a local meet instead of going to Southampton.

o dear.
the gist is "give us some more notice please" is I really want to come and chew the cavvy cud and am pissed off that I can't, it's a massive disappointment thing, I'm not being aggressive to you for christ sake! I am telling you I am naffed off I can't make it, but I just can't as real life has got in the way this weekend, so of course more notice is best for me.
lets hope some sunny sundays come up in the real spring, if we get one.

Geeeeez........
Shall we order a boxing ring for the next meet
Just thought it would be an idea with the half decent weather around at the moment, and yes it is short notice but then there has not been a Southcoast meet since end of last year mostly due to all of us having busy schedules and the shite weather..
Suspect this will change to a local ish meet around Bournemouth somewhere as its just too nice out not to meet for a cruise and a pint somewhere!

Agreed, but you know what I'm like with a "pint" at lunchtime.....

Finally able to post something...
The lack of an 'official' SW meet in 2014 is two fold, firstly the weather has been shite and secondly my V6 is still not back together which rather stops me from going! Rather a selfish attitude I know, but as Mike has proven, there is no leader or person in charge, we all big enough and ugly enough to sort out our own meets without relying on other to do that for them.
I will not be able to attend the meet of local bods as my V6 is still in the process of reassembly and I am using this weekend to do just that. I applaud Mike for using his loaf and arranging a meet although I do agree with Pete that these things generally work better with much longer notice periods. I realise that this is also sometimes a hard thing to achieve considering we all work, family, Monaro's to polish, etc.
I hope to arrange a SW meet in April, so keep your eye out for the thread and date options - hope there is a good meet regardless who does or doesn't manage to make it.

Looking forward to the next meet-up although for my part I cannot make 12/13 April or Easter weekend.

Currently unable to make anything due to extreme lack of funds, which means I have to be careful with what little juice I have in my tank each month.
I need to be back on the railway...

Well... due to kind and unexpected intervention from family, my financial issues are much lesser now, and I'll possibly be able to make it more often for upcomming meets.
Hooray!
