VBOA National Rally, Billing Aquadrome, 15/16th July 2016

Post by humbucker »

Due to a clash with the British Grand Prix, the date for the VBOA Annual Rally at Billing Aquadrome has been brought forward by a week to the 15th & 16th July.

Further details to follow.

Who will be heading to this show?

Whether I still have the V6 or not, I'll be going.

After all the work being put into my cav by Troy, it would be rude for me not to turn up and show off the old girl with a rebuilt body and a fresh paint job.

I have promised to go for the last couple of years - so fingers crossed, I will actually be there this time.

Sounds good,

But we will need to meet the VBOA criteria before we can do that.
Insurance for the club and subscriptions for members if I remember correctly.

Also how many member will be on other club stands?.

But yes, I did notice the winking emoticon.

If we can't manage our own stand, then I will be with Migweb.

Well I can confirm that as expected, we won't be having our own stand at billing this year.

However that doesn't mean that we can't get together on the day.

So who is planning to come along this year, and on what day?

I may be there on the Sunday,
Not 100% certain yet.

But if I am there, it will be in the wife's Vectra-C.
(Don't think it would be allowed to take a battered Toyota Yaris - lol).

I'll be there with my Dad Mike on the Sunday.

Hopefully we'll take the V6 and the LS if it's fixed in time but if not probably the CD auto.

We should all try to meet up at some point.

Sadly - I am missing out yet again.
Cav is still in the paint-shop queue.

But that is not the reason why I cannot make it.
Too many commitments back here.

As they say - yet again... maybe next year.
