North East members' Spring 2016 meet
This inaugural event has been postponed by (only) 3 years or more. Now however Simon Robinson Classics (as was)
http://www.simon-j-robinson.co.uk/#2
has agreed to host a meeting of North Easterners this Spring if we are interested. They are located just off the Darlington - Newton Aycliffe junction 59 of the A1 = within easy reach of anyone and everyone from Northumberland to Yorkshire. T and butties are on the agenda in addition to the chance to inspect and purchase that vintage MG to park alongside the Cav on your driveway.
Date to be negotiated once I have got hold of the PM details of all who might be interested. It would of course help if any of those could "register" an interest on this forum.

I would be interested in this meet, depending on date etc, always willing to bring the cav and get it out the garage and have a excuse to drive it, Ads

Great. Tks for "registering". I'd be thinking of some sunny Spring weekend sometime. I guess quite a number of us would also like to see in 3-D what comes out of your garage then.
All others who see this please say. Saves me PM-ing

I may well be up for this, although it is unlikely that I'll be in a Cavalier. I'll 'watch this space'!

You've said that in front of witnesses mind. I knew from the start that the T's + butties + MG's would attract the bees to the honeypot from far and wide.

Yeah that sounds good do you have any dates confirmed, probably won't be in the cavalier but coffee and butties swung it for me

Somewhere I've got a list of names that I started to compile but it's gone missing and been found twice since. There ought to be an easier way of ID-ing them via the website than the hitty missy way I went about it. I've a feeling that the total came to getting on for 20 depending of course if you include Northumberland down to (North) Yorks. Unfortunately they don't all read this sub-forum or PM's
