I emailed them yesterday, just waiting for a reply.

So how may people are interested in this? Just so I can get a rough idea of how many will be attending.

I'll start a list

Right, so I've had a word with their Group Sales Manager and I have a bit more info.

We need to get 15 people together in order to get the group discount rate of £14.50 per adult, £13.00 for Concessions and £10.50 for Children. So feel free to bring as many friends and family with you to make up the numbers.

If we can't get that many together, we'll have to pay the standard prices which are considerably higher at £24 for adults (£22 if you book online), £21.50 for Concessions and £14 per child.

As for getting photographs in front of HMS Cavalier, it may be possible as there is a road that runs right in front of it. However I'll have to get permission to do this from their manager.

It may be a good idea if we all met up before going into the dockyard itself.
I've had a look around and the car park next to the Odeon Cinema seems like the most suitable and easiest to find.
Details found here

I think it's best if we all aim to meet at 9:30am ready to convoy in when the Dockyard opens at 10am.

I'm going to finalise the date as Sunday 17th September. However this can still be changed if not enough people are available on that date.

Not sure how I managed to miss this being up for so long, but assuming the car isn't making me swear lots after the MoT, then count me in!

Looks like we're not going to get quite enough to get the cheaper price.

We've got two options, either pay the full amount on the day,

or we open it up and advertise the meet on Facebook.

I suppose whether we wanted to keep this a club only event. I think we may be pushed to get guaranteed extras from Facebook - I could be wrong, I could post on Migweb too if that helps.

Right, no easy way to put this but I'm going to have to change the date.
Long story short one of my colleagues has decided to take that week off in holiday and I'm the only one who can cover.

Would everyone still be able to make the 1st October instead?

This seems to have fizzled out and died, so I think it's for the best that it's postponed until the spring.
